“In the spring, Ukraine opened an embassy in Abidjan. I hope that this will significantly strengthen the connection between our countries. Ukrainian peacekeepers have made a significant contribution to restoring peace in Côte d’Ivoire . Now Ukraine needs a just peace. Therefore, I am glad that I can count on the participation in the Peace Summit President Ouattara on the coming Day of Africa,” said the statement.
We remind you that the Peace Summit will be held on June 15-16 in Switzerland. Ukraine hopes that 80-100 countries around the world will participate in this event. The Office of the President believes that Russia’s participation in the first Peace Summit is not expected, but there is a possibility that its representatives will be at the second summit.
