Ukrainian border guards are making efforts to turn enemy soldiers into “cargo 200”. In particular, they hit the enemy with the Croatian RAK-12 multiple launch rocket system. The State Border Service announced this on May 23 in Telegram.
Border guard artillerymen fire at the invaders with RAK-12 MLRS in the Kharkov direction, says the caption to the video.
As is known, the RAK-12 MLRS of 128 mm caliber is produced in Croatia. Ukrainian border guards received them for service in April 2023. According to the Military portal, these systems were developed in the early 1990s. The Rak is a significantly lighter version of the Yugoslav M-63 Plamen multiple launch rocket system.
This installation is designed to fire over large areas at distances from 800 to 8 thousand 500 m. The MLRS works to defeat the enemy both in open areas and in the case of shelters.
Let us remind you that the day before, operators of the Steel Border brigade used an FPV drone to destroy an enemy Gazelle, which the enemy hid at the Shebekino checkpoint in the Volchansky direction. Entire border guards published videos of the defeat online.
