A Ukrainian journalist’s book will be translated into three languages

He received the BBC Book of the Year 2022 award, the Special Award of the Chapter of the Yuri Shevelev Prize, and was also shortlisted for the Shevchenko Prize 2023 in the Publicism, Journalism category.

Book by Ukrainian journalist Pavel Kazarin Wild West of Eastern Europe will be translated into three languages: English, German and Polish. He spoke about it on Facebook.

He won three awards from the Ukrainian Institute of Books.

The Wild West of Eastern Europe was published in 2021 by Vivat.

It is a collection of stories and reflections of a journalist, “the travelers of a man who left his home to stay at home.” The author reflects on the role of Ukraine and charts its recent history.
