The death toll in Kharkov from an enemy missile attack has risen to six. Another 11 people were injured.
The Russian aggressors carried out a brutal attack against the cities of Kharkov and Lyubotin. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Telegram on Thursday, May 23.
“According to preliminary data, there were 15 missiles at the same time, unfortunately, there were dead and injured that the emergency services are in the affected areas, and each victim will be given the necessary assistance,” he wrote .
Zelensky noted that Russian terrorists are taking advantage of the fact that Ukraine is still deprived of adequate air defense protection and a reliable ability to destroy terrorist launchers right where they are located – near our borders.
“And this weakness is not our weakness, but the weakness of the world, which for the third year now does not dare to treat the terrorists exactly as they deserve,” the Ukrainian leader said.
According to Zelensky, fear must disappear everywhere – in any condition and on any continent.
“And this is our common responsibility – everyone in the world who has the opportunity to protect life from fear Ukraine is doing everything it can,” he concluded.
