Alexey Drozdenko noted that currently the city only provides power to critical infrastructure facilities.
A power outage occurred in Sumy on the night of May 22 as a result of a Russian attack on energy facilities in the region. This was announced by the head of the Sumy City Military Administration (MVA) Alexey Drozdenko on the Telegram channel.
The regional center remains mostly without electricity, but the city is providing power to critical infrastructure.
“Due to a hostile attack, the city of Sumy does not receive electricity, we expect restoration and, first of all, we provide critical infrastructure,” explained the official.
