This was reported by the Judicial and Legal Newspaper.
Thus, now women doctors cannot find employment as non-combatants.
Heads of state bodies, local governments, enterprises, institutions and organizations must report to the TCC about working women who have a medical or pharmaceutical education, but are not registered with the military. If a woman with a medical or pharmaceutical education does not work, she must come to the TCC on her own to be registered.
In Ukraine, since 1992, there has been a rule according to which all women from 18 to 60 years old with a medical or pharmaceutical education must be registered with the military. However, it worked imperfectly, so some doctors were not taken into account.
In 2023, the requirement to register with the military came into force for women doctors and women pharmacists who, for certain reasons, were not yet there. Previously it was assumed that they would not have this three years – until December 31, 2026.
