Ukraine will receive the Dutch YPR-765 infantry fighting vehicle based on the American M113A1 armored personnel carrier.

The Netherlands will supply Ukraine with a new batch of YPR infantry fighting vehicles. The Minister of Defense of the country, Kaisa Ollongren, announced this on Monday, May 20, on the social network X (Twitter).

“The Netherlands will provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with YPR armored infantry fighting vehicles with remote control battle stations following a request from Vladimir Zelensky. It is very important that all countries continue to contribute to military aid for Ukraine,” he said.

It is worth adding that these armored vehicles provide fire support in battle, evacuate wounded military personnel and deliver ammunition to the front.

The exact number of YPR infantry fighting vehicles to be supplied to Ukraine has not yet been announced. It is known that the Netherlands has previously transferred 207 YPRs of various types to Kyiv.

It was mentioned that YPR will come to Ukraine soon.

It was previously reported that the Netherlands is allocating more than 200 million euros for air defense and shells for Ukraine.
