1. The Little Mermaid
Based on the short story of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen‘The Little Mermaid’ arrived in the animation catalog of Disney in 1989 to present the story of Ariel, princess of Atlantis who had the dream of living on the surface with humans, and who, to achieve it, ends up making a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula.
At the end of the film, Ursula gets what she wants so much: to be Queen of the Seven Seas and tries to kill Ariel while exploring the powers she acquired after wielding King Triton’s trident, becoming gigantic and giving life to a threatening storm. The scene is horrifying and gets even worse when Eric, Ariel’s love interest, impales Ursula through the belly, and the powers of the trident turn against her, and she is electrocuted to death.
2. The Princess and The Frog
When Prince Naveen arrives in New Orleans, Dr. Facilier from ‘The Princess and The Frog’ finds the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow when he sees the opportunity to strike a deal with the young nobleman and take advantage of the situation. .
