Ukraine suffers from delayed and insufficient military aid supplies, which have to be paid for by the sacrifice of Ukrainian soldiers.
Fear prevents sufficient support for Ukraine from the free world. This is what Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said on Saturday, May 18, ERR reports.
“What stops us from supporting Ukraine is fear. Every country has different fears, be it nuclear fear, fear of growth or fear of migration. We must not fall into the trap of fear, because that is exactly what Putin wants. He wants us to be afraid and not support Ukraine,” Kallas said.
He also emphasized that it is necessary to support Ukraine as much as necessary.
“We will act decisively and not allow our adversaries to dictate our future,” she added.
The Estonian government is considering sending troops to Ukraine so that the Estonian military can take over logistics work in western Ukraine.
Estonia will transfer funds to Ukraine to strengthen its own cyberspace within the framework of the IT coalition. This was learned during a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ekaterina Chernogorenko and the Deputy Commander of the Cyber Command of the Estonian Defense Forces Mihkel Tikk and the head of the cyber policy department and coordinator of the IT coalition from the Estonian Ministry of Defense Laura Oolup in Kyiv.
