The Ukrainian Armed Forces have changed positions in the Lukyantsy area of the Kharkov region.

The command made this decision to save the lives of the defenders. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook on May 14.
It is noted that in the Kharkov direction, units of the Defense Forces repelled one enemy attack in the Shebekino (Russian Federation) – Volchansk direction. The situation there is controlled.
The head of the Kharkov OVA, Oleg Sinegubov, informed that rifle battles were taking place in the northern outskirts of Volchansk. The Ukrainian military, he said, is trying to stabilize the front line in absolutely all directions where the aggressor is trying to advance.
Let us recall that in the construction of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine it was reported that in the Kharkov direction, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 13 attacks by the Russians. Fighting continues in Volchansk; Ukrainian defenders are clearing the city from enemies.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, in an interview with The New York Times, said that “Russian attacks in the Kharkov region will continue for another three to four days, after which Russian troops are expected to launch an offensive in the direction of Sumy.” He called the situation in the Kharkov region “critical.”
