Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down a Russian Ka-52 helicopter

The enemy helicopter was “landed” by the soldiers of the anti-aircraft missile and artillery battalion of the 47th Mechanized Brigade.

The Ukrainian military shot down a Russian Ka-52 Alligator helicopter. The 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade announced this on Facebook on Monday, May 13.

“Friends, good news! Soldiers of the 47th separate mechanized brigade have landed a Russian Ka-52 Alligator helicopter,” the message said.

The military recalled that the cost of one such helicopter is $16 million.

“Thank you to the fighters of the anti-aircraft missile and artillery battalion for their work! – added the brigade.

We remind you that on the day of May 12, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated a record number of Russians – 1,740. In total, Russian losses since the beginning of the mass invasion amounted to more than 484 thousand soldiers. Among the destroyed equipment were 350 aircraft and 325 helicopters.

It was recently reported that a Russian Su-25 aircraft was shot down near Avdeevka.
