The Russian army continued to press and advance deeper into the Kharkov region. He reported the “very difficult” situation around the city of Volchansk – a populated area under constant fire from the invaders, counterattack actions of the Ukrainian military continue, and local residents are being helped to city.
The President noted that the Ukrainian action will cause the greatest losses to the Russians.

On the night of May 12, Ukrainian intelligence drones attacked military targets in Russia’s Volgograd, Kaluga and Lipetsk regions. Kaluganefteprodukt, Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant and Volgograd Oil Refinery were attacked.
