Germany will not return military personnel with a residence permit and work to Ukraine.

Citizens of Ukraine with a residence permit and official employment in Germany are in no danger. They will not be expelled, despite Kyiv’s efforts to return citizens living abroad. This was stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, DW reports.

The legal situation is such that residence here is not in doubt. Employment also leads to residential security, he noted.

The head of the German government called on Ukrainians to find a job, since there is still a shortage in the labor market in Germany. Now this country needs several hundred thousand workers.

Let us recall that in April, the speaker of the Ministry of Defense, Dmitry Lazutkin, stated that Territorial Recruitment Centers abroad would not work and serve subpoenas.

Previously, the Cabinet of Ministers banned sending Ukrainian passports abroad. Also, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has already limited the provision of consular services to men aged 18-60 years abroad.
