Seizure of vehicles during mobilization is carried out based on the decisions of local state administrations. The spokesman of the Ministry of Defense Dmitry Lazutkin spoke about it, the press service of the department reports.

“The military transport task was established to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations for a special period with vehicles, including watercraft and equipment, agricultural machinery ,” said He.

The participation of vehicles during the mobilization is carried out by the TCC, the central department or regional bodies of the SBU, the relevant units of the intelligence agencies of Ukraine based on the decisions of local state administrations, which is formalized by the relevant orders.

According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, the reception and transfer of vehicles that are attracted during the mobilization and their return after the announcement of demobilization is carried out on the basis of certificates of reception, which indicate information about the owners, technical condition, residual value and other necessary information allowing the identification of vehicles.

“Vehicles are returned to the owner within 30 calendar days from the date of demobilization,” Lazutkin added.

We remind you that the mobilization proposal provides criteria for confiscation of vehicles for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from citizens who have more than one car.
