A powerful video for this holiday has appeared online. The footage shows prisoners of war calling their mothers on the phone and meeting him during vacation. In the video you can also see female soldiers. President Vladimir Zelensky published the corresponding video on Facebook.
All mothers are different – and each has its own challenges. Every night, mothers worry and pray for their children, waiting for a call or a few words in a message to hear: “Mom, I’m alive, I’m alive,” the video says.
The head of state emphasized that May 12 is a special day for all Ukrainians, because today we honor the most dear person in our lives.
Let us recall that on May 9, tank crews of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a video in which they congratulated Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on the so-called Victory Day. The footage showed what awaits the invaders in Ukraine, namely complete destruction.
