It was reported that the day before the chairman of the OVA ordered the mandatory evacuation of the residents of Belopolye and Vorozhba.
“Preliminarily, there will be a TEMPORARY evacuation in Sumy in areas of compact residence. We are talking about a period of up to a month. Everyone will be able to sign up on Monday at the city council shelter. On Tuesday, the evacuation buses is In addition, it is possible to travel for free from Sumy to Kyiv by train or to Kharkov, Poltava or Dnieper by bus,” the message said.
In his comments, the mayor stressed that the evacuation was not mandatory.
