The White Angels police group came under targeted attack by the Russians in Krasnogorovka. The occupiers’ shells hit 100 meters from the car, where at that moment law enforcement officers were helping local residents sit down. However, the security forces were able to quickly remove civilians from under enemy fire. The National Police of Ukraine announced this on Facebook on April 11.
The White Angel police crew, risking their lives, continues to evacuate civilians from the burning Krasnogorovka. Every day more and more people are asking for salvation, the department noted.
“White Angels” is the name of police squads evacuating people from front-line settlements.
As you know, the invaders have been storming Krasnogorovka, which is on the way to Kurakhovo, for two months. The city is controlled by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Let us recall that in March in Krasnogorovka, the White Angel evacuation group rescued a wounded 72-year-old local resident, who miraculously survived the arrival of an enemy shell into the building. The evacuation group had to get under fire because columns of black smoke rose in the city.
