Power steering drones attack Lukoil refinery – media

On the night of May 11, GUR drones attacked the Volgograd oil refinery in Russia. Ukrainskaya Pravda reports this with reference to a source in the Main Intelligence Directorate.

Volgograd Oil Refinery belongs to PJSC Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka.

It was noted that the main oil processing plants AVT-1 and AVT-6 were damaged.

It was also learned that the air cooler control cable was damaged, as a result of which seven refrigerators were disabled. In addition, the chimney of the P-1 furnace was damaged.

Previously, the Russian public and some media reported that on the night of May 11, seven drones were shot down in the Volgograd and Kursk regions. Air defense operations were heard in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd.

Let’s remember that on May 10, drones attacked an oil refinery in Kaluga, Russia. This is the second hit at the Kaluga Oil Refinery. The first hit was recorded on March 15.

In the past, power steering drones hit the Ryazan oil refinery in Russia and attacked an oil refinery in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation.
