The capital’s law enforcement officers, together with representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Center, stopped a man on Khreshchatyk who was very similar to Monatik. The corresponding video was published online by Telegraf.
According to the authors of the video, the singer was stopped to check his documents. There was no scandal.
Subsequently, the artist himself confirmed on Instagram that he was stopped in the capital. Monatic admitted that such verification is not new to him. He was released after his details and records were checked.
Representatives of the TCC actually stopped me on Khreshchatyk, politely asked if I had updated my data and asked for my military ID to be checked. I am registered with the military. Data updated. This is not the first check, because I travel a lot between Ukrainian cities and such checks are carried out constantly, as for all citizens of Ukraine,” the singer wrote.
Let us remind you that the other day representatives of the TCC forcibly detained and took to the military registration and enlistment office a 25-year-old player of the Khust football club, Nikolai Sirash. The FC was outraged by such actions of the military personnel, but the OK “Zapad” stood up in defense of the TCC. They stated that “we support Ukrainian football, but we put the defense of Ukraine at the forefront.”
