Currently, the arms corporation is in the final stages of planning the localization of part of our production in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, more than 200 refugees from Ukraine have found employment in the company. These people have gained the necessary experience and are eager to return home to continue working there. This was stated by the company’s general director Roman Shimonov.
According to him, there are already several service centers operating in Ukraine that service Roshel armored vehicles used by Ukrainian defenders.
Canadians expect that localizing production in Europe will significantly simplify logistics and access to new markets.
Let us recall that in October last year, the Canadian company Roshel Smart Armored Vehicles handed over to the Ukrainian Defense Forces a batch of Canadian Senator MRAP armored vehicles, developed taking into account the experience of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
