The funds will be used to support Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises by improving lending conditions.
The government on Friday, May 10, made a decision that will allow two Ukrainian banks to attract up to 30 million euros from the European Investment Bank. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to him, these funds will be used to support Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises by improving credit conditions.
Shmigal added that Ukraine appreciates the support of European partners in all areas.
EU budget support since the beginning of this year has reached $6.5 billion, the prime minister said.
Earlier it was reported that the European Investment Bank will provide loans to Ukraine in the amount of 560 million euros this year for energy projects, transport infrastructure and housing restoration.
We remind you that the EIB has already allocated almost 100 million euros to Ukraine for reconstruction projects in 18 regions.
