Imported energy should ensure the ability to reduce the risks of consumption restrictions for industrial consumers.
A company within the DTEK group D. trading quadruple electricity imports to reduce the deficit in Ukraine’s energy system that arose after the racist attacks. The company’s press service reported this on Friday, May 10.
“D. trading immediately responding to changes in the balance of supply and demand in the energy system, significantly increasing the import of electricity from European countries. After the attack on May 8, the amount of imported resources of the company increased almost four times,” the statement said.
According to the company’s general director Dmitry Malyar, imported energy should provide an opportunity to reduce the risks of consumption restrictions for industrial consumers.
SA D. trading added that in April the company’s share reached 32% of total electricity imports in Ukraine, and in March – 46%.
Let’s remember that on the night of May 8, Russian terrorists launched another attack on the Ukrainian energy system with more than 50 missiles and dozens of kamikaze drones. The air defense shot down most of the targets, but there were a few hits. Later on Ukrainergo states that power outages are possible across Ukraine.
