Budapest will not deport Ukrainian male refugees of military age.

Hungary will not release refugees to Ukraine, especially men of military age. Ukrainians will decide for themselves whether to return or not. This is what the Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary Zsolt Simien said, reports atv.hu.

According to him, every refugee from Ukraine in Hungary “is a free person who will decide for himself whether to stay here, move to the West or return.”

“Hungary will not release refugees to Ukraine Every refugee from Ukraine is completely safe in our country, and he receives all the necessary help, whether he is Hungarian or Ukrainian,” said Simien.

Remind you that earlier the Minister of Defense of Poland said that his country can help Ukraine return those responsible for military service. At the same time, the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs promised to extend temporary protection for Ukrainian refugees without passports.

The Lithuanian government also allowed the possibility to help Ukraine in the matter of returning men of military age.
