The Russian massive enemy missile and drone attack on energy facilities has resulted in a shortage in the country’s energy system, which forces Ukrenergo to apply power supply restrictions for industry and business from 18.00 to 24.00.

In this regard, the capital is looking for options to save electricity without compromising the life of the city. A decision has already been made to minimize evening street lighting, the press service of the KMVA reports.
We will not turn off all the lights completely. Thanks to the external lighting control system, we will reduce the brightness of lighting fixtures, which will allow us to achieve overall savings of at least 20%, KMVA notes.
The KMVA notes that at the present time, electricity will be saved at the expense of ordinary household consumers – supplies to the apartments of Kiev residents will occur without restrictions.
At the same time, residents of the capital are calling for saving electricity to help Ukrenergo avoid potential extreme measures – the use of emergency shutdowns for household consumers throughout Ukraine.
I insistently ask all residents of the capital – save money!!! Especially during the most important load hours for the energy system – from 18.00 to 23.00,” noted the head of KMVA Sergei Popoko. – Do not turn on all powerful electrical appliances at the same time, transfer washing to the night, turn off the lights in empty rooms. Help balance the energy system with your savings!
