On Thursday, May 9, draft resolution No. 11248 was registered in parliament on the dismissal of Alexander Kubrakov from the post of Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction – Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine. The draft resolution was submitted by a group of people’s deputies, including the chairman of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia. This is reported on the Verkhovna Rada website.
The explanatory note to the draft resolution states that the initiative to dismiss Kubrakov from his position is associated with the failure of regional policy, which is within the official’s area of responsibility.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Yaroslav Zheleznyak wrote on Telegram that the issues in the hall should be considered on May 9.
As you know, from November 19, 2019 to May 20, 2021, Kubrakov headed the State Highway Agency. He was appointed Minister of Infrastructure on May 20, 2021. And on December 1, 2022, he became the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for reconstruction issues.
Let us recall that on May 1, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree dismissing Ilya Vityuk from the post of head of the Department of Counterintelligence Protection of State Interests in the Field of Information Security of the Security Service of Ukraine.
