On the night of Thursday, May 9, Russia launched attack UAVs across Ukraine, which were subsequently accompanied by ballistic missiles, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported.
“The threat of using ballistic weapons from the east,” the message said.
An air alert due to ballistics was declared in Poltava, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk and Zaporozhye regions.
In the Odessa region, the alarm continues due to UAV attacks, and in the Kherson region there are launches of guided aerial bombs.
At 1:05 am, the Air Force warned that UAVs continue to move in the direction of the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky district of the Odessa region.

Let’s remember that last night Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 55 missiles of various types and 21 attack drones, and managed to destroy 59 enemy targets in the air. Air defense forces were able to destroy 33 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles; four Caliber cruise missiles; two guided aircraft missiles Kh-59/Kh-69 and 20 Shahedov. The capital is also under attack; Missiles entered Kyiv from different directions. In the Kyiv area, all air targets were destroyed.
