A native of Russian Omsk traveled to Russia as an “observer” and said that so-called “voting” in the Russian Federation is “democratic.”
German MP Olga Peterson is planning to be expelled from the party Alternative for Germany because of his participation in the so-called “election” process in Russia. This was reported by the German publication Die Zeit.
The Hamburg branch opened a case for expulsion from the party of deputy Olga Petersen, who lied about her purpose in visiting Russia.
According to him, he left the Russian Federation as a private person, but later found out that he served as a so-called “observer” in the recent “elections.” He publicly called the “presidential elections” in Russia “open, democratic and free.”
Hamburg Parliamentary Group Alternatives for Germany said that further cooperation was no longer possible due to “fundamental differences.”
This is not the first time Peterson has shown his sympathy for Russia and Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin. It is known that, in addition to everything, he is a native of the Russian city of Omsk.
Recall that Germany summoned its ambassador from Russia for consultations after Berlin accused Moscow of cyber attacks on defense and aerospace companies and the party in power.
