Electrical engineers have to repeatedly restore electrical grids damaged by shelling.
Over the past 24 hours, emergency teams have restored power to 8,000 families in 21 communities in the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, according to the DTEK press service report.
In particular, electricity was fully or partially restored to residents of 20 communities in the districts of Kramatorsk, Bakhmut and Pokrovsky for 7,133 families.
“Among other things, in less than a day, food was returned to 3.8 thousand families in the direction of Avdeevsky and Bakhmut, where the enemy concentrated offensive operations,” the statement said.
Another light for 927 families was restored in the Krivoy Rog region – in one of the Zelenodolsk municipalities, which is subject to ongoing shelling.
“Yesterday, the power supply was fully restored there, but at night the enemy again shot down the village and left 386 houses without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Electric Grids specialists plan to resume operation of the lines in end of the day, once they receive permission from the military, ”DTEK said.
A day earlier, electricity was restored to nearly 5.5 thousand homes in 7 communities of the Donetsk region.
And in the past week in the Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions, electricity was restored to 120,000 families in the combat zone.
