More and more French people want to leave the big urban centers. And the residents of Bordeaux are no exception. Between the noise, pollution, and lack of green space, there are plenty of reasons to settle down where life would be so much sweeter. It is still necessary that the place is well serviced, reasonably safe and reasonably priced for the property. It’s hard to find the right spots when you’re close to Moonport. To find out where we ultimately live best in the Bordeaux metropolis, we first ranked the 28 municipalities according to 18 criteria that reflect the quality of life (see detailed methodology).
This battery of indicators is grouped into seven categories: safety, real estate, healthcare, shops and culture, environment – nature, work – education and finally transport. The result: a final rating that allows you to compare cities and villages with each other and find out which corner of the capital is the most pleasant to live in.
