On May 4, Ukrainian defenders shot down a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft over Donbass. This was done by the soldiers of the 110th separate mechanized brigade.

    .

Air Force representative Ilya Yevlash, speaking on the United News telethon, clarified that the Su-34 usually drops controlled air bombs on the front line, and the Su-35 fighter covers it.

The Su-25 attack aircraft, which Ukrainian defenders managed to shoot down, is carrying out combat missions. He fires at Ukrainian military positions with different types of missiles.

The personal factor of the pilot also greatly influences this. If he felt so fearless, made several flights and then they didn’t get him, then this does not mean that they won’t get him tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Most likely, he decided that he would be able to make a certain flight, but was skillfully clandestine by our soldiers,” Yevlash said.
