Scholz remembered Ukraine with Easter greetings

Many Orthodox Christians in Ukraine cannot celebrate Easter with their families and the world, the German Chancellor said.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz promised to support Ukraine as much as necessary in his Easter greetings. This is what he says wrote on social network X on Sunday, May 5.

“On Orthodox Easter today, we think about the many Orthodox Christians in Ukraine who cannot celebrate this holiday with their families and the world,” said the German chancellor.

Scholz emphasized that Germany will support Ukraine “as long as necessary.”

We remind you that President Vladimir Zelensky said in his Easter greetings that “God has a chevron with the Ukrainian flag on his shoulder With such an ally, life will surely defeat death.”

Zelensky called on Ukrainians to be “maximally attentive” during the Easter holidays due to Russia’s actions.
