The American company Feloni Aero announced the launch of a new line of UAVs designed to “strengthen the defense capabilities of Ukraine.” We are talking about Felon 1.0 drones with a 5.56 mm weapon system and FelonX, armed with a Spike missile. This was reported by Defense Industry Europe on May 3.
The Felon 1.0 drone is armed with a 5.56 mm cannon and is designed to gain an advantage in the sky. It is useful for reconnaissance or counter-terrorism operations, as well as for perimeter security.
And the FelonX UAV has a Spike anti-tank missile on board. This ammunition is a fairly effective Israeli-made anti-tank weapon, competing with systems such as the Javelin.
Let us recall that on April 30, Latvia approved a new batch of military assistance for Ukraine, which will include short-range anti-aircraft installations (probably we are talking about MANTIS NBS C-RAM), reconnaissance and other UAVs, as well as technical equipment for air defense.
