Israeli police detained a 58-year-old man who attempted to attack Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s motorcade in Tel Aviv. The incident happened on Thursday, May 2. It was reported by the local publication ynet.
The media said the attacker was driving a car parallel to Netanyahu’s motorcade, and also waved his arms and shouted “You are to blame!”, trying to approach the motorcade.
The man was stopped by the prime minister’s security guards and police. He was suspected of attempting to attack the prime minister’s motorcade and was taken to the police station.
