The city of Chasov Yar in the Donetsk region, destroyed by Russian occupiers, was shown in an exclusive video from a drone.

The city, located among green fields and forests, has turned into an apocalyptic picture. The destruction of Temporary Yar is reminiscent of Bakhmut and Avdeevka, which the Russians shelled for months and subsequently occupied. This was reported by the Associated Press.
It is noted that at present there is not a single intact building left in the settlement; houses and municipal offices are charred. Since Yar, which had 12 thousand inhabitants before the full-scale invasion, is now almost deserted.
Journalists note that capturing this city would give the Russians control of a hill from which the aggressor country could attack other cities that form the basis of Ukraine’s eastern defense.
That would set the stage for a potentially broader Russian offensive, which Ukrainian officials say could begin as early as this month, the article said.
Let us remind you that on April 26, the Khortitsa OSUO stated that the Russian army is seeking to take Vremya Yar in the Bakhmut region into the operational encirclement. The enemy army is trying to outflank the city through Bogdanovka and Ivanovskoye in order to capture Vremya Yar in a pincer movement.
