The warehouses stored 904 items weighing 15.5 tons worth almost 3 million UAH. These are equipment, clothing, medicines, toys, etc. The company is looking for parcel owners and counting losses. People are promised compensation. Novaya Poshta reported this on Facebook on May 2.
The post office added that according to the Russian occupiers, weapons were allegedly stored in the warehouses.
Let us remind you that on the night of May 2, the Russians launched a missile attack on Odessa. Damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded, and windows in nearby houses were blown out. As a result of the shelling, 14 people were injured, one of them was hospitalized in serious condition.
Novaya Poshta announced a strike on the sorting depot and department. None of the employees were injured.
