In the Donetsk region yesterday, the Russians shelled the city of Gornyak, as a result of the enemy’s strike, two people were killed and six were wounded. The press service of the State Emergency Service reported this on the morning of Thursday, May 2. In total, four civilians are known to have died in the Donetsk region in the past 24 hours.
It was reported that the doctors of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, who are now working in the Donetsk region as part of a joint detachment, gave first aid to an injured person and took him to the hospital.
As a result of shelling, fires broke out in the private housing sector. Rescuers extinguished the fires in the garages covering an area of 200 square meters. m and a private residential building with an area of 70 sq. m.
The head of the Donetsk OVA, Vadim Filashkin, reported two more deaths in the region as a result of shelling on May 1 – in Kalinov and Krasnohorivka.
