The attack damaged civilian infrastructure, including postal warehouses. There are broken windows in the surrounding houses. 14 people were injured, one man was hospitalized in moderate condition. All others received medical attention on the spot. The head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration Oleg Kiper reported this on Telegram.
The State Emergency Service stated that they extinguished the fire and 68 rescuers, including psychologists, worked at the scene of the impact. 19 units of equipment were involved.
The enemy hit with a rocket and destroyed the sorting depot and the Novaya Poshta office in Odessa. As Novaya Poshta reported on Facebook, none of the employees were injured.
The estimated value of all packages that were destroyed as a result of the impact will be reimbursed to customers in full. We will contact all recipients tomorrow, the message says.
The co-founder of Novaya Pochta, Vladimir Popereshnyuk, noted on Facebook that the fire that broke out after the hit destroyed about 900 parcels in the department’s warehouse.
