The Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Tomsk Region of the Russian Federation, Ekaterina Sobkanyuk, proposed the return of labor camps to Russia. Russian Telegram channels reported this on Wednesday, May 1.

“And there are many people who just don’t want to work and use government support. They are just, excuse me, worms in our bodies,” the deputy justified her proposal.
According to Sobkanyuk, who himself runs a construction company, a third of vacancies in this area are not filled in the region.
The State Council of Tatarstan plans to allow teenagers to work in hazardous businesses. The representatives propose allowing teenagers aged 16 to 18 to work in jobs with hazardous “and/or dangerous working conditions.”
Tajikistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged citizens not to visit Russia unless absolutely necessary.
