President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on the resignation of Ilya Vityuk from the post of head of the Department of Counterintelligence Protection of State Interests in the Field of Information Security of the Security Service of Ukraine.

The corresponding decree No. 257/2024 was published today, May 1, on the website of the head of the president.
Dismiss Ilya Anatolyevich Vityuk from the post of head of the Department of Counterintelligence Protection of State Interests in the Field of Information Security of the Security Service of Ukraine, the document states.
At the beginning of April, an article from “Investigations.Info” appeared about the condition of Vityuk’s wife and mother. According to journalists, Vityuk’s relatives own real estate worth at least UAH 25.5 million at market value. Vityuk was subsequently removed from his duties.
