The information about the resignation of the head of the Ministry of Defense and the head of the Ministry of Infrastructure is false.
Information about the alleged resignation of Rustem Umerov from the post of Minister of Defense of Ukraine and his appointment as Minister of Infrastructure instead of Alexander Kubrakov is fake. This was announced by the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on Wednesday, May 1.
“The center has verified the information in the relevant structures and records that this information does not correspond to the truth,” the statement said.
The Center emphasized that it is important to work carefully with information related to the Defense Forces, as the security of the state depends on it.
We remind you that today information appeared in the media that the Office of the President is allegedly preparing the resignation of the Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov, and in his place is planned to appoint the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov.
Meanwhile, the Russian media is spreading information that on the night of May 1, the invaders allegedly launched a missile attack on the headquarters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Odessa. However, this is another fake of the enemy.
