The M2A4E1 is the most advanced and most survivable version of the Bradley thanks to the inclusion of the Iron Fist active protection system.
The United States intends to replace every Bradley infantry fighting vehicle transferred to Ukraine with a new version of such equipment. It is equipped with active protection. This was announced by the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems on Facebook.
The US Army received funding to purchase a new version of the Bradley – the M2A4E1 – for each such infantry fighting vehicle donated to Ukraine.
The M2A4E1 Bradley version was unveiled last week in Maine. The M2A4E1 is the most advanced and most survivable version of the Bradley thanks to the inclusion of the Iron Fist active protection system.
This version of the infantry fighting vehicle also has an improved gunner’s sight and climate control for the troops.

The Iron Fist active protection system was developed in Israel. It is designed to protect equipment from anti-tank missiles and rocket-propelled grenades. The system tracks potential threats using radar and then destroys missiles fired by the vehicle.
We remind you that earlier the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces showed how they destroy the Russians at Bradley. In particular, in the recording you can see how soldiers fired at Russian positions with a BMP machine gun.
