The company responded to Ukrainians’ outrage by selling its old vehicle fleet at auction.
Ukrposhta commented with abuse on the reaction of Ukrainians to the news that the company sells old cars on the ProZorro site. The corresponding message appeared on the official page Ukrposhta on the X network (Twitter).
The day before, the company announced the sale of 531 cars to raise funds to update the fleet, said Igor Smelyansky, General Director of Ukrposhta. In particular, they plan to sell cars of both foreign production (Hyundai Sonata, Peugeot, Mazda, Citroen, Volkswagen, KIA, Daewoo, Skoda, Volvo, Mercedes Benz) and aggressor countries (MAZ, GAZ, UAZ, ZIL and others). All will be sold in lots from 9 to 134 units. The value of the lots ranges from 42 thousand to 1.1 million UAH. One of the lots can be viewed in the Prozorro system today.
According to the general director of Ukrposhta, if these used cars are bought by volunteers, from 3-4 cars it is possible to assemble one, which will then be transferred to the front.
However, Ukrainians on social networks are critical of this move by the state-owned company. Users complained about the unsatisfactory technical condition of the vehicles and the need for an auction instead of transferring the vehicles directly to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the end, Ukrposhta emotionally responded to the criticism: “Yes, they put rotten shit up for auction No, they didn’t fuck Yes, we want to give it to the needy, but no We have no right. We sell old cars in Prozorro, because it is required by law.”

Earlier it was reported that Ukrposhta will issue stamps dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the war in Ukraine.
