Meloni’s name will be on the ballot for the ruling Brothers of Italy party in all five Italian constituencies in European Parliament elections scheduled for June 6-9.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said she will run in the European Parliament elections, Reuters wrote.

“We want to do in Europe what we did in Italy… create a majority that unites the center-right and sends the left into opposition,” Meloni told a party conference in the city of Pescara.

Meloni will reportedly top the ballot for the ruling Brothers of Italy party in all five Italian constituencies in European Parliament elections scheduled for June 6-9.

Meloni assured that he would not use “not even one minute” of his time as prime minister to campaign.

We remind you that Giorgia Meloni is the first female prime minister in Italian history. He will lead the country’s government in the fall of 2022.
