The official was informed of suspicion of violation of road safety rules by a person driving a vehicle while intoxicated – Part 2 of Art. 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Prosecutors sent a petition to the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv to select a preventive measure for the official in the form of uncontested detention. The Office of the Prosecutor General announced this on April 27 on Telegram.

A 2.5-year-old girl and her mother suffered moderate injuries. The child has a shoulder fracture, a wound to the nose and a subcutaneous hematoma of the occipital area of the head, and his mother was diagnosed with a concussion, fractures and a chest injury.
