The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court chose a preventive measure for the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Nikolai Solsky. He was sent to custody, but there is a possibility to post bail in the amount of 75 million Hryvnia. The court session reports it.
The court decided to apply a preventive measure to Solsky in the form of detention until June 24, 2024, with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 75 million 700 thousand hryvnias, which can be paid by the suspect himself or someone else. .
If bail is granted, Solsky will be assigned the following procedural responsibilities:

attend to every request of the investigator (detective), prosecutor and court;

do not leave Kyiv without the permission of the investigator (detective), prosecutor or court;

inform the investigator (detective), prosecutor or court about a change in your place of residence and place of work;
-
avoid talking to witnesses in this criminal case;
-
deposit your passport(s) for travel abroad, other documents giving the right to leave Ukraine and enter Ukraine;
-
wear an electronic monitoring device.
Prosecutors asked to set bail for Solsky in the amount of more than UAH 200 million.
Let’s recall that on April 23, suspicion was reported to one of the ministers in a case related to the seizure of state land worth 291 million Hryvnia. At the same time, there was an attempt to take over another plot, the cost of which was 190 million Hryvnia. The media reported that we are talking about Solsky.
The minister later said that it concerned the period from 2017 to 2018, when he was engaged in legal practice.
Nikolai Solsky also wrote a letter of resignation.
