Attacks on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant have stopped in recent days, but the situation at the Russian-occupied power plant remains unpredictable. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi announced this on Thursday, April 25, the Agency’s press service reports.
“We are not aware of any drone attack since the incident was reported a week ago, which is encouraging. However, we know from experience that the situation can deteriorate significantly in a minute. The situation remains highly unpredictable ,” Grossi said.
He stressed that IAEA experts working at the nuclear power plant hear artillery shells every day at different distances from the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant.
It is indicated that on Monday, April 22, IAEA experts visited a training center located near the perimeter of the Zaporizhia NPP site, which was previously attacked by drones, but the occupiers again did not allow the roof specialists .
