Speaker of the Ministry of Defense Dmitry Lazutkin said this on Radio Liberty.
According to him, the e-cabinet, through which you can update military registration data, should go live in June.
The electronic account does not provide for passing the VLK. We are talking about updating data – changing place of residence, marital status, booking, reservations, etc.,” Lazutkin said.
The mobilization law gives two months to update the data.
At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers previously prohibited sending passports abroad. Also, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has already limited the provision of consular services to men aged 18-60 years abroad.
Ukrainian men will not be deprived of their refugee status in Germany. The German Ministry of the Interior assured that the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to temporarily suspend the provision of consular services for male citizens aged 18 to 60 years abroad will not affect the status of refugees in Germany, DW reports.
Ukraine’s decision not to provide consular services to Ukrainian men abroad will not affect the refugee status of those Ukrainians who are in Germany, German Interior Ministry spokesman Maximilian Kahl said at a government press conference, Deutsche Welle reports.
He is confident that this will not affect the status of refugees from Ukraine in need of protection, regardless of whether we are talking about women, who make up the vast majority of refugees, or men. Ukrainian refugees have such a protected status in all countries of the European Union due to the fact that they were forced to leave their homeland to escape Russian aggression.
Kahl stated this when answering a question about the possible consequences of the decision of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to temporarily suspend the provision of consular services for male citizens aged 18 to 60 years old who are abroad.
At the same time, neither he nor the press secretary of the German Foreign Ministry wanted to comment on Kyiv’s decision to stop consular services for Ukrainian men of military age, including in Germany.
