Two weeks after the national local elections, 748 re-elections were held for the positions of leaders of cities, towns and communities. This was reported by TVP Info.

In another large city, Wroclaw, the current mayor, Jacek Sutryk, an independent candidate supported by the ruling coalition party, the New Left, won with more than two-thirds of the vote.
Polling stations close at 21.00. Of the 748 mayoral elections, nine repeat elections were held in cities with voivodeship capital status.
According to the National Election Commission, six of them were candidates from the Civic Coalition who won, while the other two new mayors were supported by members of the ruling coalition. The turnout for this election was 44.06%.
