The court extended the preventive measure for Kolomoisky in the form of detention until June 2.
On April 22, Kyiv’s Shevchenkovsky District Court extended the period of the preventive measure in the form of detention of businessman Igor Kolomoisky until June 2, but again reduced the bail alternative – from UAH 2.4 billion to 1.96 billion with reference to one from the parties to the meeting.
It was noted that the court again rejected the proposal to release Kolomoisky on bail as a representative of the people and refused to arrest him due to health conditions, meeting the requests of the prosecutor of the Office of the Prosecutor General Sergei Demyanchuk, representing in persecution.
Let’s remember that in February the court left Kolomoisky in custody for another two months – until April 25. In addition, the court again reduced the amount of bail by UAH 150 million, to UAH 2.4 billion. As of September 2023, the maximum amount of collateral is about UAH 3.9 billion.
In September 2023, the Security Service, the Bureau of Economic Security and the Office of the Prosecutor General served Kolomoisky on suspicion of fraud and legalization (laundering) of property obtained by crime. Subsequently, Kolomoisky received two more suspicions: about withdrawing a total of 15 billion UAH from PrivatBank.
