Ilya Yevlash noted that Ukraine expects help from partners on the issue of providing air defense systems.
The most vulnerable from enemy attacks are the front-line regions and border areas of Russia. This was said by the spokesman of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Ilya Yevlash on the air of the United News telethon.
“Those close to Russia and the temporarily occupied territories are the most difficult, first of all, these are the regions of Kharkov, Odessa, Kherson, Zaporozhye, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Dnepropetrovsk,” the official said.
He emphasized that Russian terrorism can be countered by a large number of air defense systems.
“We really hope for help, including from our American partners,” summed up Yevlash.
We remind you that Germany will transfer to Ukraine an additional Patriot air defense system – the third since the beginning of a large-scale war. The information was confirmed by President Vladimir Zelensky after a conversation with Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
